Here in the waiting

Like many other things, I thought i already had the art of waiting down pat.  After all, I’ve had my fair share of this endurance training spread throughout my 30-something years of existence; from no-choice-but-you-gotta-do-this queuing back in UNI during pre-online system days, to self-imposed exercises like learning how to sell, invest and actually doing it.  Oh, and there are those life lessons from relationship wins and failures, with all the struggles and drama in between.  The list goes on.

But lately I still find myself in a seemingly state of limbo, although somewhat less of a deep, dark pit and more like an uphill climb with no clear view of what’s ahead or how far to the landing.  Sure, some say the thrill is on the chase, the joy and glory in the climb.  Still, there are days when the air is just a little bit too thin for your breath, or your legs are just about to give out, and you’d want nothing more than to catch a glimpse of that peak, a view of that horizon, or even just a hint of it..

Good News

Good news are welcome anytime.  In a world where negativity is the norm, shining some light through positivity can become essential, critical.  Mine came this morning through a call.  Thirty seconds is all it took to add a spring to my step.
