Ever had those times when things just seem to fall on your lap and those pursuits (If I do decide to pursue them, which happens 80% of the time) define the next X years of your life because they just seem to fly..? I happen to have had those a couple of times, few and far in between BUT, they just make life great and would definitely warrant a bio entry (If I ever get one ;))Lately though, I’ve been having them a lot and needless to say, life is brimming with excitement possibly because of them; Be it relationship/s, career, turning points, breakthroughs, I’m starting to believe it’s never really too late unless you put your foot down on it. Now, I’m not middle-aged or in the late stages of my life to be able to say so with finality, nor am I advocating a come-what-may outlook in life in general, but in my (early) thirty-something years, I think I’ve seen enough to say with conviction that this is true, not just for me but for a lot of other people I’ve had the chance to observe or interact with. Yes, sometimes they (even I), don’t see it but sooner or later, someone will make it clear to them (or me) and one can look forward to possibly some of the best of times 🙂
They say opportunity knocks once, or twice, or, in other variations, in limited supply. I never really believed or at least doubted before that chances are so scarce in a lifetime. Now I’m sure; They come aplenty. You just have to take them, claim them, and enjoy the ride 🙂
