She noticed a bunch of flowers growing in the garden — red-tipped, velvety petals, dark blue in the middle. Coming closer, the petals were wet to the touch. “Odd..”, she mumbled to herself. The other plants were a bit dried out after the family moved a fortnight ago to be closer to her parents. Only this one seems well cared for. Overcome by curiosity, she checked the seemingly well-watered ground, brushing the soil around it. Not long after doing this, she uncovered a limp hand buried right next to the growth. She stifled a scream, and failed.
